Recognised Awards

The Council’s Recognised Awards are four industry recognised awards available to dance and musical theatre schools and teachers meeting the standards of professional practice of the Council for Dance Education and Training.

The awards recognise dance and musical theatre schools and teachers who are committed to upholding safe and professional standards.

Choosing a dance school or teacher who has received a Recognised Award allows you to make an informed choice about the professional standards of that establishment or individual, knowing they have fulfilled our Requirements of professional practice.
