We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality and Compliance Executive to join us, to provide support to our Learning and Qualifications Director with the maintenance and monitoring of ABRSM’s quality and compliance systems in line with relevant regulatory requirements. The job holder’s responsibilities will include preparing ABRSM’s annual self-evaluation report and annual returns to Ofqual, CCEA and Qualifications Wales, managing internal audits, and investigating irregularities. S/he will provide informed guidance to colleagues across the company on all issues relating to compliance and will ensure that information on our website and in our print materials relating to our qualifications is accurate.
You will have experience of working within a regulated environment, with good knowledge of the regulatory requirements regarding Awarding Organisation regulation and Quality Assurance. Ideally, you will have experience of audit and analysis and of using research findings to make evidence-based decisions. It is essential that you are able to work in a structured and proactive way and are able to use your relationship-building skills to enhance the knowledge and understanding of quality and compliance within ABRSM.
