Directories of Dance Teachers

The UK Directory of Registered Dance Teachers is the most comprehensive online register of dance teachers in the country. The Directory contains full contact details of qualified dance teachers who are members of only four dance teaching societies to be registered (accredited) by the Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET) - the British Ballet Organisation, the British Theatre Dance Association, the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the Royal Academy of Dance. The Directory is the primary reference for parents, students, primary and secondary schools looking for locally based, qualified dance teachers who are members of the Council's Registered Societies. Awarding bodies may also have a directory of their own teachers who do not subsribe to the CDET directory.

In addition to the The Directory, CDET publishes The UK Database of Dance Teachers. This online database lists individual dance teachers who are current members of CDET's Corporate Member societies.
